They knew their land, their people, their rhythm. They had pride and responsibility.<\/em>
Then they got soft.<\/em>
Every time something felt too heavy, they pushed it up the chain.<\/em>
\u201cThat\u2019s not our job.\u201d<\/em>
\u201cLet the province handle it.\u201d<\/em>
\u201cLet Ottawa decide.\u201d<\/em>
And Ottawa did.<\/em>
Now the same rules govern a fishing village in Newfoundland and a skyscraper in Toronto.<\/em>
That didn\u2019t happen by force.<\/em>
It happened because local man stopped leading.<\/em>
Because we stopped showing up and decided our responsibility was someone else\u2019s problem.<\/em>
We outsourced the very duties that once gave our lives meaning and now we wonder why the World Economic Forum creates our rules?<\/em>
Freedom doesn\u2019t die in a single act of tyranny. It erodes every time someone says, \u201cI don\u2019t want to deal with it.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>
And we’ve been doing that for decades!<\/em>
When a township hands off its power,<\/em> a province grows stronger.<\/em>
When provinces defer upward,<\/em> the federal machine expands.<\/em>
And when nations follow that same instinct, you end up with a global order.\u00a0<\/em>
If you refuse to bear the responsibility, someone will carry it for you and you\u2019ll answer to them forever. And that’s exactly what we did!<\/em>
You can\u2019t fix this from above.<\/em>
You fix it from the soil beneath your feet.<\/em>
By rebuilding the will of your community.<\/em>
By stepping up where others stepped out.<\/em>
By owning what\u2019s yours and never handing it off again.<\/em>
Every time you say “It’s not my responsibility”, you surrender a part of your freedom to whatever institution you push the job on to.<\/em>
Every time a township says, \u201cThat\u2019s not our jurisdiction,\u201d the world slides one inch closer to total control.<\/em>
Responsibility is the price of freedom and we refused to pay it.<\/em>
Now the monster has arrived by our own invitation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
