Their sacrifices remind us that freedom is never free \u2014 it is earned, maintained, and protected by those willing to act with courage in the face of danger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we remember, we are invited to consider how we can carry their legacy forward in our daily lives. Civic responsibility is not limited to the battlefield \u2014 it extends to the choices we make as members of our communities. Participating in local decision-making, respecting one another\u2019s rights, and standing up for justice are small but meaningful ways to honour the freedoms that others fought to preserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we observe the silence and lay our wreaths, let us remember, reflect, and take responsibility \u2014 for our communities, our freedoms, and one another.
