It\u2019s open to all Oxford County residents, but so far, Norwich Township is the only municipality actively highlighting it. Most others don\u2019t mention the survey at all, though you can indicate your region when completing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before you submit, keep a few things in mind:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Lack of context:<\/strong> The survey asks you to rank priorities without showing how the last three-year plan actually performed. We don\u2019t know which strategies worked, which didn\u2019t, or what they cost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rising costs:<\/strong> Policing is expensive. Survey responses can influence new programs or expanded responsibilities that increase local OPP bills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Social issues vs. policing:<\/strong> Questions cover homelessness, mental health, and addiction \u2014 serious problems that are better addressed by social services, not police.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Survey design concerns:<\/strong> Some questions group unrelated issues or use vague terms, making it hard to give clear, thoughtful answers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Bottom line:<\/strong> Your input matters \u2014 but make it informed.
