At Stand4Oxford, we believe that when parents speak up, communities get stronger. That’s why we’re proud to highlight the important work being done by the Concerned Parents Association of London & Area (CPAL).
Right now, the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) has a whole list of policies under review — everything from special education and fundraising rules to environmental education and how trustees spend taxpayer dollars. These may sound technical, but they have a direct impact on how our kids experience school every single day.
The truth is simple: if parents don’t show up, these decisions get made without us.
The good news is, you do have a voice. Drafts are open for public input, and it only takes a few minutes to make sure your perspective is heard.
CPAL has broken it all down in an easy-to-follow post that explains what’s at stake and how you can add your input. Check it out here: https://cpal.substack.com/p/multiple-tvdsb-policies-under-review
This is a moment for parents to step up and speak out. Let’s make sure our kids’ futures are shaped with community voices at the table — not behind closed doors.
